Over the last year I've been gradually experimenting with different organic substances to create real textures and effects with my photography. I've never really felt settled with the fact that so much of my art has been created in a completely digital realm. What has really created a vibrant streak of expression in my art has been using water to blur, smudge, run, dissolve and warp ink from my images. I love getting hands on with prints and seeing what I can do to create a more vibrant and dreamy image.. It's been unbelievably refreshing to get away from a digital only domain and reconnect with my images in a much more intimate environment.
